After an injury during technical rehearsals, actress Suzanne Bouchard had to drop out of Bring Down the House. After surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon and with the okay of her doctor, Bouchard returns to the role of Humphrey in Bring Down the House Part 1 and will finish out the run of the production through closing on March 12.
Our spring production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream helmed by Artistic Director George Mount takes its inspiration from movie musicals of the 1930s and 40s complete with big band music, tap dancing, and all of Shakespeare’s moony romantic fun. The production runs May 3-21, 2017. Joining us for the cast of A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a great mix of familiar faces and newcomers to our stage.
Actresses Marianne Owen and Meg McLynn join the company of Bring Down the House.
The results are in for Seattle Shakespeare Company’s Show Us Your Shakespeare video contest, and we have three winners!
