This is Connor’s eighth show with the Seattle Shakespeare Company (most recently playing both Posthumous and Cloten in Chamber “Cymbeline”) and his second romp in the parks with Wooden O. He has also worked at the Seattle Repertory Theater, Intiman, ACT Theater, Arizona Theater Company, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Seattle Children’s Theater, New Victory Theater, Book-It Repertory, and many others. Matt is honored to make his return to the park with Wooden O, having last appeared in 2008’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Most recently, he performed in Taproot Theatre’s “Freud’s Last Session” as CS Lewis. Regionally, Matt has performed with Harlequin Productions, Village Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Intiman Theatre, Seattle Shakespeare Company, Wooden O, and Toy Boat Theatre. This summer he can also be seen in the second season of the locally-produced web-series “JourneyQuest.” Matt holds a BFA in Theatre from Pacific Lutheran University and an MFA in Theatre from The Chicago College of Performing Arts. Matt lives in Tacoma with his wife, the beautiful and talented Emilie Rommel Shimkus, and daughter, Robin.
This will be Chris’s theatrical debut with Wooden O as Curio in “Twelfth Night.” Chris has recently appeared as Martin in “References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot,” “The Piper,” and as Paris in “Romeo and Juliet.” His influence from Improv Comedy, roots in physical theater, and poetry in his music have been instrumental in getting him to this point in his professional career. Christopher is going into his senior year at Cornish College of the Arts to receive his BFA, with an emphasis in acting.
Harry is very pleased to stamp the grass again this summer in his first comedy with Wooden O, previously appearing last year as Malcolm in “Macbeth,” and the Dauphin in “Henry V.” Harry is a recent graduate of Western Washington University where he received his BA in Theatre. Recent credits around town include “Entertaining Mr. Sloane” at Theater Schmeater, “Owen Meany’s Christmas Pageant” at Book-It Repertory Theatre, 14/48: The Worlds Quickest Theatre Festival, and various other productions with Seattle Shakespeare Company, Balagan Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, and a few others. Aside from acting onstage, Harry is also passionate about teaching and directing theatre and has worked as a teaching artist with Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle Public Theater, TOPS school, and several others. Harry is son to an amazing mother, and brother to two incredible sisters.
Justin makes his Seattle Shakespeare Company debut. Credits include regional premieres of “Spring Awakening” (Balagan Theatre), “The 25 Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” (Contemporary Classics/RK Productions), “Speech and Debate” (Seattle Repertory Theatre), and “The History Boys” (ArtsWest). Justin has a theatre BFA from Pacific Lutheran University. Justin played for the Broadway national tour of “Spring Awakening” and is currently under commission as a playwright at Seattle Repertory Theatre for a performance piece chronicling his travels. Next, regional premieres of “Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson” (ArtsWest) and “Avenue Q” (Balagan Theatre).
