Unlock the Secrets of Shakespeare’s Text

The Two Gentlemen of Verona (2010)

This October, we’re offering up a handful of master classes for actors or anyone with an interest in learning a little bit more about Shakespeare in performance. Barney Hammond, former voice and text coach at the Stratford Theatre Festival, is offering two separate classes: one explores techniques for approaching modern speeches, and the other will provide insights and tips for performing Shakespeare’s speeches. Mr. Hammond will be in town to help with our production of Antony and Cleopatra. Also, Rodney Cottier, Head of the Drama School at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), will be in town briefly to give a master class on Shakespeare’s First Folio.  This is a once-in-lifetime chance to study with some of the best, so mark your calendars and register today.
