Here at SeattleShakespeare Company headquarters, we’re getting excited for the latest entry in the Star Wars saga, The Force Awakens, later this month. Who doesn’t love a great, big multi-generational epic? Shakespeare sure loved ‘em.
If you haven’t already come across author Ian Doescher’s series Shakespeare’s Star Wars, you should take a look. There are six books in the series and Doescher has mashed up the Star Wars series, but given it a Shakespeare twist. They are a very inventive and fun read (and one of the things we’re putting on our wish list this holiday season).
