Share the Love of Shakespeare!

I Heart Shakespeare

WOW! Thanks to the generosity of audience members like you, we raised over $16,000 to fuel Seattle Shakespeare Company’s programs in the community! More than 800 patrons donated at performances of Love’s Labour’s Lost, online, or by mail to blow the roof off this fundraising goal!  Thank you! You support has a big impact!

Through our indoor shows, free park performances, and touring outreach productions, we are working to ensure that as many folks as possible can experience live, professional performances of Shakespeare’s works.  Your support is what enables us to reach the students and communities that are most in need of our programming. Thank you!

Our state-wide touring outreach productions will reach 11,000 students this spring, visiting many rural and remote areas.

“Living in a remote area, our students lack easy access to performing arts opportunities available to their city counterparts. Seattle Shakespeare Company had a huge impact on our kids. They help us imagine worlds beyond our valley.”

“I was always a little intimidated by Shakespeare, but now I think it’s really cool.”

This summer we plan to present 39 free performances of Shakespeare in 12 parks across our region, reaching more than 10,000 audience members.

“Thinking back over our summer, my son and I both agree that the highlight was seeing a Wooden O performance.  It was my 12-yr old son’s introduction to Shakespeare, and he loved it!  Thank you for making it so accessible and memorable.  It truly was an enjoyable evening!”
