Ways to Save

Seattle Shakespeare believes in making theater accessible to all and has developed several ways for patrons to experience our productions at a discount or for free.

Pay-What-You-Will Performance

We designate selected performances throughout the season as play-what-you-will nights. Tickets are sold on the day of the show starting at 1:00 p.m. online and on a cash only,  first come, first served basis in person. Check the ticket calendar of the production you plan to see or email the box office for the next pay-what-you-will performance.

Groundling Membership

Groundling members can purchase available day-of-show tickets (excluding Opening Night) for only $10 when they show their Groundling membership button. Groundlings tickets become available for sale at 6:30 p.m. (1:00 p.m. for matinees), are limited to two tickets per member per show. Email or stop by the box office to become a Groundling member.

Low-Priced Preview Subscriptions

Purchasing season subscription tickets already saves you money off the cost of regular-priced single tickets, but if you come to a Preview performance you can save even more. This subscription package with reserved seating is a great option for those on a tight budget.

TeenTix

Teen Tix is a free arts-access pass that allows teenagers to purchase $5 day-of-show tickets to theatre, dance, music, film and visual art. Visit the Teen Tix website for information on signing up.
