This magnum of extremely rich and powerful vintage 2005 red wine from Columbia Valley is produced from vines that were planted in the very early 1970s. It expresses the purity of fully mature cabernet sauvignon fruit that one can only get from 35 year old vines. The Wine Advocate describes it as "a wine with serious depth and concentration, sweet, savory fruit, incipient complexity, and a very long, pure finish." The wine will benefit greatly from additional cellaring and should last for ten years.

You may have been to the jumpstarts at Seattle Shakespeare, the Oxfordian discussions, the post-performance talk-backs with the casts…but they go so quickly. And as soon as you get jazzed to speak up, time's over. Or maybe you haven't been to any of these things, but you have been intending to. Now's your chance: this is a jumpstart just for you and a handful of friends for "The Tempest". You'll meet with dramaturg Lisa Jackson-Schebetta an hour and a half before curtain at the theatre. Then your group will have a cozy conversation with Lisa before attending the play. This will make your experience watching "The Tempest" better than ever! Lisa is the dramaturg for "The Tempest" and "Richard III" this summer and served in the same role for "Henry IV".
