Audition, rehearse, and perform your own version of our mainstage production.

Professionals from Seattle’s theatre community will lead you through a five-week rehearsal process that culminates in four performances of an original adaptation of the current Seattle Shakespeare Company mainstage show. Several of our Short Shakes actors have gone on to win roles in their school productions as well as roles with professional companies such as Book-It Repertory Theatre and Wooden O Theatre.

Hone your acting skills with the help of professional artists

Designed to develop performance techniques and tools that can directly apply to the experience in the rehearsal hall. Taught by professional actors and teaching artists. Participation in Short Shakes production is not required for Skills classes.
