Education Programs
2011-2012 Season
Seattle Shakespeare Company's education department annually serves more than 24,000 youth in the Seattle area and across Washington State through programs in classrooms and in our theatre. In our summer and after-school Shakespeare camps, young actors develop their skills and gain hands-on production experience.
Seattle Shakespeare Company's youth programs provide personally enriching, meaningful, and inspiring experiences in Shakespeare performance and instruction for learners of all ages. Seattle Shakespeare Company actors and teaching artists take students on a journey of self-discovery as they provide exhilarating professional performances, and activate Shakespeare’s language in students’ bodies using the archetypal stories contained in the plays that tell the tales of history and humanity.
