Camp Bill Edmonds 1: Shakespeare Performance
Dates: July 16-27, M-F 9am-3pm

Shakespeare comes to Edmonds!
During two weeks of Camp Bill, students will work on a Shakespeare Performance. They will spend two weeks working with teaching artists from Seattle Shakespeare Company to learn a little stage combat, a little Elizabethan Dance, and a lot about how to perform scenes from Shakespeare! Students will be cast in a shortened Shakespeare play, and perform in a showcase for parents on Friday, July 27 at 1:30 p.m.

Dates: August 6-10, M-F 9am-3pm

Shakespeare’s Comedies come to Edmonds!
In Comedy Camp Bill, laughter and trickery abound! Students work on comedic scenes and monologues from Shakespeare, focusing on finding the funny! There will be elaborate jokes, mistaken identity, hilarious misunderstanding, and a fun week of playing around with Shakespeare. Students will share their funny with parents during a Friday showcase starting at 2:00pm.

Dates: August 20-24, M-F 9am-3pm

Shakespeare’s Tragedies come to Edmonds!
During our Tragedy Camp Bill, students will learn the ins and outs of Shakespeare’s tragic plays. They will learn dramatic monologues and scenes from the great tragedies of Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello, and King Lear. They will also get instruction in stage combat and even a little bit of swordplay! By they end of the week, students will showcase their lamentations and dramatic agony during a Friday showcase at 2:00pm.
