Our cast for “King Lear” is nearly complete and we’re thrilled with the company that will be joining us for the production this spring. Dan Kremer will play the title role of Lear. Dan just finished up his run as John of Gaunt in our “Richard II.” Joining him as Lear’s daughters Goneril, Regan, and Cordelia will be Seattle Shakespeare Company newcomers Linda K. Morris, Debra Pralle, and Elinor Gunn. Michael Winters, last seen on our stage in 2009 in “The Tempest,” will play Gloucester. Michael recently played King Lear at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival this past year. Todd Jefferson Moore, who played Bottom in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” for us in 2011, will play the Fool. The rest of the cast is a great mixture of Seattle Shakespeare Company alums and new friends including Scott Ward Abernethy, Patrick Allcorn, Gordon Carpenter, Jonathan Crimeni, Sophie Paterson, Craig Peterson, Eric Reidmann, Sean Schroeder, and Amy Thone.

Director Sheila Daniels production of “King Lear” runs for three weeks only at the Cornish Playhouse April 24 through May 11.
