Gabriel Baron

Gabriel Baron (Dromio of Syracuse)

SSC: Debut

Some of Gabriel’s performance credits include Honus and Me at Seattle Children’s Theatre, Restoration Comedy and The Chosen at Seattle Repertory Theatre, Convenience at On the Boards with Seattle dance company locust, Archangels Don’t Play Pinball at Capitol Hill Arts Center, Fellow Passengers with Strawberry Theatre Workshop, and Extropia and Paper Airplane with Collaborator. Gabriel has directed Accidental Death of an Anarchist with Strawberry Theatre Workshop, Ballyhoo and A Very Reggie X-mas at On the Boards, and Extropia with Collaborator. He also choreographs and teaches acting to kids and adults. Gabriel’s work has earned him two Seattle Times Limelight Awards, the 2005 Stranger Genius Award for theater and a Top Ten Plays of 2004 from Seattle Weekly for Extropia.

Suzanne is a senior at Cornish College of the Arts. This is her first show at Seattle Shakespeare Company, and she is thrilled to be here.


Deborah FialkowDeborah Fialkow* (Adriana / Fight Choreographer)

SSC: Cyrano de Bergerac (Cavalier/Valvert/Lise/Cadet), As You Like It (Rosalind)

Deborah is pleased to be working again with Seattle Shakespeare Company. Her recent credits include Cyrano de Bergerac and As You Like It (Seattle Shakespeare Company), Arizona Theatre Company’s production of Macbeth, and ACT Theatre’s productions of The Woman in Black, Enchanted April and Alki. Deborah’s work has also been seen at the Seattle Children’s Theatre, Tacoma Actor’s Guild, The Empty Space Theatre, Open Circle, theater simple, Consolidated Works, Aha! and Annex Theatre. Deborah also recently had the pleasure of working on Greg Palmer’s Cityplay about the Denny landing party and the Duwamish tribe, as well as having had the opportunity to work with Susanna Burney’s wonderful Our American Theatre Company (Philadelphia Story).


David GoldsteinDavid Goldstein (Dromio of Ephesus)

SSC: Richard III (Hastings/Stanley), The Taming of the Shrew (Tranio), Twelfth Night (Sir Andrew Aguecheek), Romeo and Juliet (Balthazar), Much Ado About Nothing (Verges)

David is excited to be back at Seattle Shakespeare Company. Favorite roles in Seattle (other than those at Seattle Shakespeare Company) include Charley in Travels with Charley (Book-It Repertory Theatre), the Officer in Accidental Death of an Anarchist (Strawberry Theatre Workshop), Pinky in Giant (Book-It Repertory Theatre) and Tragico in Frankennocchio (The Empty Space Theatre). David has also performed with Wooden O Theatre, Theater Schmeater, On the Boards, ArtsWest and hosted the burlesque cabaret The Heavenly Spies. Catch David later this winter in The Water Engine at Strawberry Theatre Workshop.


Ray GonzalezRay Gonzalez* (Angelo)

SSC: Love’s Labour’s Lost (Boyet), Measure for Measure (Provost), Twelfth Night (Orsino), Much Ado About Nothing (Borachio), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Starvling), and Richard III (Catesby)

Ray is happy to be returning to the Seattle Shakespeare Company stage and to be working with such a wonderful and talented director, cast and crew. Most recently he performed in Capitol Hill Arts Center’s production of Cloud Tectonics, directed by Aimee Bruneau. Ray has also performed locally at Book-It Repertory Theatre, Intiman Theatre, Bridges International Repertory Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, New City Theatre, Wooden O Theatre, and ACT Theatre. A Cornish College of the Arts graduate (1997), Ray and his partner Kellini are the proud parents of daughters Shelby and Ruby-Rose.


Gregg LoughridgeGregg Loughridge* (Aegeon / Balthasar)

SSC: Cyrano de Bergerac (Count de Guiche), Richard III (Director)

Gregg made his Seattle Shakespeare Company debut in January 2006 as the image and voice of Henry V in the first 30 seconds of Richard III (which he also directed). Later that year he also appeared as the Count de Guiche in Cyrano de Bergerac. He has worked as an actor and playwright for such theatres as The Empty Space Theatre, Tacoma Actor’s Guild, The Group Theater, The Portland Repertory, and the New Jersey, Idaho, and Oregon Shakespeare Festivals and currently writes and produces video, interactive exhibits, and multi-media theater pieces through his virtual studio, Small Epics.


George MountGeorge Mount* (Antipholus of Ephesus)

SSC: The Taming of the Shrew (Kate – ‘03, ‘05; Tranio -‘96 tour), King Lear (King of France/Doctor), The Merry Wives of Windsor (Slender), Romeo and Juliet (Paris - tour), Richard III (Richmond), Macbeth (Witch)

George’s most recent onstage work for Seattle Shakespeare Company was the remount of the all-male The Taming of the Shrew. This past summer, George played Hamlet for Wooden O Theatre, a free Shakespeare in the Parks company which he founded in 1994 and still serves as Artistic Director. Other Wooden O credits include Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, Cassius in Julius Caesar and Caliban in The Tempest. As a director, George staged Wooden O’s Julius Caesar, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Tempest and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, among others. He has also acted in productions with Book-It Repertory Theatre, Taproot Theatre, SecondStory Rep and Seattle Public Theatre. In addition to his work onstage for Seattle Shakespeare Company, he also serves as the company’s Education Coordinator.


Marty MukhalianMarty Mukhalian (Abbess / Friendly Merchant)

SSC: Much Ado About Nothing (Ursula, Watchman)

Marty is delighted to work with Seattle Shakespeare Company again.  She trained at the 78th Street Theatre Lab in New  York and has performed locally with Strawberry Theatre Workshop, Book-It Repertory Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, theater simple, Theater Schmeater and Open Circle Theater, among others.  Favorite roles include: Hecuba (The Trojan Women); Mrs. Sparsit (Hard Times); Dancer (The Eight Reindeer Monologues); Scrooge and others (Fellow Passengers). 


Don Darryl RiveraDon Darryl Rivera (Dr. Pinch / Traveling Merchant / Music Director)

SSC: Much Ado About Nothing (Verges, Balthasar)

Don Darryl is ecstatic to be back with Seattle Shakespeare Company where he was last seen running amuck in Messina in Much Ado About Nothing. Since then, he attained his BFA in Theatre from Cornish College of the Arts, eluded the famous teenaged crime sleuths Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys in The Creature of Kapu Cave Video Game (HERinteractive), and committed a karate chop-filled suicide in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (GreenStage). Look for Don Darryl in Everyone Knows What A Dragon Looks Like at Seattle Children’s Theatre early next year. Previous Seattle music credits include Macy’s, SIMON Northgate Mall, University of Washington, Harborview Medical Center, The Archdiocese of Seattle, Seattle Center, and The Washington Music Educator’s Association 2002 All State Jazz Choir. Music credits from San Francisco include Six Flags Theme Park, Pier 39 and Justin Hermann Plaza. He has written original music for local productions of The Wilde Swallow, Much Ado About Nothing and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.


Caety SagoianCaety Sagoian (Courtesan)

SSC: Cyrano de Bergerac (Madame Bellerose, Sister Marthe)

Caety is thrilled to be back at Seattle Shakespeare Company. She is a recent 2006 graduate from Cornish College of the Arts with a BFA in acting and an emphasis in jazz vocals. She was last seen in Seattle Childrens Theatre’s  production of  Harriet’s Halloween Candy playing both Luanne and Harriet’s rollicking little brother, Walter.


MJ SieberMJ Sieber* (Antipholus of Syracuse)

SSC: Much Ado About Nothing (Claudio), Merry Wives of Windsor (Hugh Evans), Richard II (Aumerle)

MJ is thrilled to be back at Seattle Shakespeare Company having last been seen on the stage as Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing.  Most recently he was featured in the world premiere adaptation of Richard Wright’s Native Son at the Tony Award winning Intiman Theatre. Other highlights include work on the stages of ACT Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Tacoma Actors Guild, Book-It Repertory Theatre, Theater Schmeater, Wooden O Theatre, and Strawberry Theatre Workshop where he will be directing David Mamet’s The Water Engine this spring. His original play Bull-Headed Whiskey... was featured in the FringeACT festival of new work, and he is currently working on a number of new scripts. He was a founding member of The Poet’s Theatre and received his BFA in Theatre from Cornish College of the Arts. 


Alexandra TavaresAlexandra Tavares (Luciana)

SSC: Much Ado About Nothing (Hero)

Alexandra is thrilled to be back with Seattle Shakespeare Company. Some of her previous roles have been Ellie in Heartbreak House and Irina in Three Sisters at Intiman Theatre, Barbara in Swimming in the Shallows at Washington Ensemble Theatre, and Meg in Little Women at Book-It Repertory Theatre. She received her MFA from University of Washington’s Professional Actor Training Program and is proud to be an associate member of Washington Ensemble Theatre (WET).


An’Merie WienckenAn’Merie Wiencken (Nell / Ensemble)

An’Merie is thrilled to be a part of this production. She is a full-time student at Cornish College of the Arts and will be graduating in the spring with a BFA in Performing Arts. She looks forward to seeing what the future has in store for her.


William WilliamsWilliam Williams (The Duke)

SSC: Romeo and Juliet (Ensemble)

Bill is very pleased to be returning to Seattle Shakespeare Company where he played the highly important roles of servant and messenger in Romeo and Juliet last season. Now as the Duke, his hard work has at last edged him up Shakespeare’s social ladder. A graduate of Cornish College of the Arts, you can also see Bill around town when he plays keyboard for the sweet rock band Jonny Sonic.
