Xanadu is delighted to be making her Seattle Shakespeare Company debut. She is currently a senior at Cornish College of the Arts and was most recently seen as Joanna in the Cornish production of Home Free. She will be graduating this upcoming May.

Gordon is happy to be back with Seattle Shakespeare Company. He was recently seen in the Capitol Hill Arts Center’s fabulous production of God’s Country and was grateful to take part in the staged reading of Buried Child, produced by Our American Theatre. Over the years he has performed at many area theaters including Seattle Repertory Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, and ACT. He has also been involved in numerous productions with Montana Shakespeare in the Parks.

Scott is very pleased to return to Seattle Shakespeare Company for this production. His regional credits include Pale in Burn This, Goss in Bug, Kippy in Take Me Out, the title roles in Hamlet and Macbeth, Carl in Lonely Planet, Jaques in As You Like It, Benedick, Don Pedro, Dogberry and Don John in Much Ado About Nothing, and many more. Scott has worked with the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Orlando Shakespeare Festival, Marin Shakespeare Company, Marin Theatre Company, Arizona Theatre Company, Center REP, Borderlands Theatre Company, A.R.T., and Portland Center Stage. Scott will be featured in the upcoming films The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang and The Music Within. This summer Scott will take on the role of Iago for the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival and Foothill Theatre Company.

Deborah is pleased to work again with Seattle Shakespeare Company. Her recent credits include Arizona Theatre Company’s production of Macbeth, and ACT Theatre’s productions of The Woman in Black, Enchanted April and Alki. Deborah’s work has also been seen at the Seattle Children’s Theatre, Tacoma Actors Guild, Empty Space Theatre, Open Circle, theatre simple, Consolidated Works, Aha! and Annex Theatre.
Emily Grogan (Roxane)

Emily is delighted to have just moved back to Seattle from London, where she lived and worked for five years. While in London she did voice over work for BBC TV and played Lauren/Jackie/Terry in Search and Destroy at the New End Theatre. Her favorite roles include Helen in Howards End and Jane in Pride and Prejudice, both for Book-It Repertory Theatre; Juliet in Seattle Shakespeare Company’s Romeo and Juliet; Miranda in a touring production of The Tempest for Immediate Theatre; and Elizabeth in Defying Gravity and Winifred in Scotland Road, both for The Invisible Theatre in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated with a BFA in acting from Cornish College of the Arts.
Ken Holmes (Rageneau)

Ken is usually seen in the offices of Seattle Shakespeare Company, busily creating the publications for the company. As an actor, he was most recently seen in Book-It Repertory Theatre’s production of Plainsong. He has also worked with Taproot Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, ArtsWest, Theater Schmeater and several other local companies. Ken is also the Producing Artistic Director for GreenStage, where he has acted in, directed and/or helped to produce over 35 productions, including 26 of the 38 plays in Shakespeare’s canon. This summer he will be adapting and directing a condensed version of Shakespeare’s Henry VI trilogy for GreenStage’s 18th season of free Shakespeare in the park.

Reggie is glad to return to Seattle Shakespeare Company. In the last year he appeared as Tom in The Glass Menagerie and the title role in Mr. Shakespeare’s Othello. A Book-It company member, he has recently penned the adaptation of Chistopher Paul Curtis’ Bud, Not Buddy. Reggie has worked at ACT, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Intiman, Book-It Repertory Theatre, Wooden O Theatre, Freehold, Theater Schmeater, The Seattle Children’s Theatre, and more.
Julie Jamieson (Duenna, Mother Superior)

Julie is very very happy to be back working with Steph and the gang at Seattle Shakespeare Company. Locally, Julie has worked with the Seattle Repertory Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Book-It Repertory Theatre, and Wooden O Theatre. Favorite roles include Peg in Peg O My Heart and Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Gregg Loughridge (Count de Guiche)
SSC: Richard III (Director)
Gregg made his Seattle Shakespeare Company debut in January, as the image and voice of Henry V in the first 30 seconds of Richard III (which he also directed). Some time before that, he worked as an actor at such theatres as Empty Space Theatre, Tacoma Actor’s Guild, The Group Theater, The Portland Repertory, and the New Jersey, Idaho, and Oregon Shakespeare Festivals. He currently writes and produces video, new media, exhibits, and theater through his virtual studio Small Epics. Having just passed a major midlife milestone birthday, he would also like to add that there is nothing better for the 12 year old boy in his soul than to strut around in tall boots, big hats, swinging a long steel blade.
Kevin Pitman (Cuigy)

Kevin is thrilled to make his Seattle Shakespeare Company debut! He is currently an acting major at Cornish College of the Arts and expects to earn his BFA this spring. Kevin’s most recent professional appearance was in Macbeth this past summer with Wooden O Theatre. His mentionable college credits include The Mail Order Bride, Hedda Gabler, and The Revenger’s Tragedy.
Nathan Smith (Christian)

Nathan is grateful to be back with Seattle Shakespeare Company. He has lived in Seattle for two and a half years and has been fortunate enough to work with Seattle Repertory Theatre (The King Stag, Anna in the Tropics), Strawberry Theatre Workshop (Fellow Passengers), Spokane Interplayers Ensemble (True West), Wooden O Theatre (Loves Labour’s Lost), Re-bar (The Devil & Billy Markham) as well as Seattle Shakespeare Company. Nathan holds a degree in acting from Western Washington University where he also worked extensively as an actor, director and producer with Idiom Theatre. He can also be seen in the Film Company’s latest feature film We Go Way Back (Slamdance Film Festival winner).

Sean considers himself blessed to have had the opportunity to translate his favorite play for his favorite theatre company. Holding a PhD in English from the University of Washington, he has taught at Portland State University and Hamilton College, before returning to his adopted city and the theatre, where he spends much of his onstage time with Seattle Shakespeare Company and Wooden O Theatre. His most recent appearance was as Nately in Catch 22 at Theater Schmeater.

Connor was last seen at Seattle Shakespeare Company this January in Richard III and is very excited to be working here again. Recent local credits include The Chosen at Seattle Repertory Theatre, The Grapes of Wrath at Intiman, and Macbeth with Wooden O Theatre. He has also worked at Capitol Hill Arts Center, On the Boards, Theater Schmeater, and The Poet’s Theater, as well as Shakespeare Santa Cruz. He is a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts.
John Ulman (Ligniere, Montfleury, a Cadet)

John is originally from Bakersfield, California, where he performed in two seasons of the Kern Shakespeare Festival. He went on from there to receive his BA degree in drama from UC Irvine. John has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. He also has toured nationally in several productions with California Theatre Center. Locally, John has been seen in Exchange Theatre’s Taking Steps, Mirror Stage Company’s Abstract Expression, Spokane Interplayers Ensemble’s Dracula and Music From A Sparkling Planet, and most recently in Capitol Hill Arts Center’s production of God’s Country. John lives in Seattle with his soulmate, Katjana, and also works as a photographer.
Caety Sagoian (Madame Bellerose, Sister Marthe)

Caety is thrilled to be making her debut at Seattle Shakespeare Company in Cyrano de Bergerac. She is currently a senior theatre major at Cornish College of the Arts, with an emphasis in jazz vocals, set to graduate in May. Past roles include Feste in Twelfth Night and most recently June in Mail Order Bride.
