Bone (Adam)
SSC: A Midsummer Nights Dream (Snout the Tinker and Band member)
Bill is excited and honored to be cast in As You Like It having also appeared in last seasons production of A Midsummer Nights Dream. Recent local credits include Kinfolk at Centerstage and The Prodigal with Crosswind Institute. A Music and theatre graduate from the University of Washington, Bill has juggled a stage career and taught music and theatre in public education for seventeen years.
Susanna
Burney (Phebe)

Susanna is thrilled to make her Seattle Shakespeare Company debut as Phebe. Susanna has been involved in Seattle theatre as an actress, director and writer for almost 15 years. She has appeared on virtually every stage in town, including Book-It (Howards End, Trains), Empty Space (Laramie Project), Theater Schmeater (Man to Man, Three Sisters, The Visit), Annex Theatre (the title role in Hamlet, Exquisite Torture, Faith Healer), as well as Seattle Childrens Theater, FringeACT, On the Boards, New City, Theatre Babylon and Consolidated Works. Most recently she appeared as Boyet in Wooden O Theatres Loves Labours Lost, where she also played Emilia in Othello. Directing credits include Caucasian Chalk Circle for theater simple, 14/48 and The Glass of Water at Theater Schmeater. Susanna received her BFA in acting from Boston University.
Gordon
Carpenter (Silvius/Charles)
SSC: Othello (Brabantio)
Gordon is very happy to be working with Seattle Shakespeare Company. Over the years he has appeared on many Seattle stages as well as other places near and far. Favorite roles include: Soloman in The Price, Henry in Henry V, and Bottom in A Midsummer Nights Dream, all with Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, and Athos in The Three Musketeers with the Northwest Childrens Theatre in Portland. He spent this last summer co-directing and staging sword fights with young actors in Captain Blood, part of Seattle Childrens Theatres Summer Season. A member of the Society of American Fight directors he often teaches stage fighting to young actors in the Seattle area.
Daniel

This production is Daniels first Shakespearean play and he thanks his fellow actors and all the fine people at Seattle Shakespeare Company for being gentle. Seattle theatre credits include Watbanaland for New City Theatre, The Game of Love and Chance for The Seattle Rep, Johny Tremain for Seattle Childrens Theatre, Of Mice and Men, Dealers Choice and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare -The World Tour (abridged) for The Empty Space (and no, that show doesnt count as Shakespearean), A Christmas Carol and Fully Committed for ACT and Criminal Hearts and House for The Velvet Elvis Arts Lounge. Daniel is the drummer for the Folk-Punk band Earl, who play at some of the finest seedy bars in Seattle.
Eric
Ray Anderson* (Duke Senior / Duke Frederick)

Eric was born in Tacoma and has lived and worked in the Seattle area for the past twenty years. Recent performances include Ian Jones in Sarah Kanes Blasted for A Theatre Under the Influence, Gunner in Misalliance at Seattle Repertory Theatre, Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol at A Contemporary Theatre (and hell do it again this year), and Mortimer in The Fantasticks at Arizona Theatre Company. He has also worked at Empty Space Theatre, Intiman, Tacoma Actors Guild, Huntington Theatre, Portland Center Stage, and Pioneer Square Theatre, among others. He spent three years as Co-Artistic Director of Young Shakespeare Workshop, teaches at Tacoma Actors Guilds Star Camp, and is a private audition coach. Despite years of sincere effort on everyones part, this is Erics first appearance at Seattle Shakespeare Company.
Deborah

Deborah is delighted to be making her Seattle Shakespeare Company debut. Recent Seattle theatre credits include Lady Caroline in Enchanted April and as part of the ensemble of Alki at ACT Theatre, The Shakespeare Stealer and Johnny Tremain with the Seattle Childrens Theatre and Terra Nova at Tacoma Actors Guild. Deborah has also been seen at the Empty Space, in ACTs FirstACT series, at Open Circle Theatre, theatre simple, Consolidated Works, and Annex Theatre.
Peggy
Gannon (Audrey)

Peggy is Artistic Associate and Business Manager of Seattles sole comedy-only theatre company, Bald Faced Lie, and has been a company member since their inception as a sketch group in 1996. She has also performed on a handful of other Seattle stages, including Seattle Childrens Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Wooden O Theatre, Theater Schmeater, Mirror Stage Company, and Exchange Theatre. Peggy has been honored to have participated in many new works festivals - 2004 Hedgebrook Women Playwrights Festival, 2003 & 2004 FringeACT Festivals, and many 14/48 festivals. She is a Steering Committee member of 14/48: the worlds quickest theatre festival, and she just recently began writing a regular column for www.SeattleActor.com.

McIntyre (Celia)

Susan has been working in the Seattle area for seven years with a variety of companies including Annex, Theater Schmeater, Open Circle, Village Theatre, and Seattle Childrens Theatre to name a few. Prior to her move to Seattle, Susan earned her BA in Dramatic Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, and has performed and directed professionally in Chicago, St. Paul, Maui, and Colorado. She is delighted to make her Seattle Shakespeare Company debut with such a talented cast and crew.
Todd
Jefferson Moore* (Jaques / le Beau)
SSC: Debut
Although a fledgling newcomer to Seattle Shakespeare Company, Todd has worked at other places: recently as Death (Mr. Bones) in Alki at ACT, a librarian in Underneath the Lintel at the Empty Space, and as a Cuckoo clock in The Gingerbread Man at Seattle Childrens Theater. He is also a bit of a writer (Town Mouse and Country Mouse, A Day at the Beach, Kennys Window and In the Heart of the Wood). He is currently working with his son, Max and composer Chris Jeffries on a piece for Empty Space about General Smedley Butler, Americas most decorated military officer.

Samuels (Oliver)

This is Alexs first production with Seattle Shakespeare Company, and he couldnt be happier. Since coming to Seattle from his native Brooklyn, he has worked with many companies including Capitol Hill Arts Center, Consolidated Works, Theater Schmeater, and Open Circle. He is also Co-Artistic Director of Moonlight Theater Company.

Claudio Smith (William)

Brian is thrilled to be making his Seattle Shakespeare Company debut in As You Like It. Recently he has performed at the Crepe de Paris as Mark in The Taxi Cabaret, and as Andrew in Corpus Christi at Northwest Actors Studio. He also appeared in the 2003 Seattle Fringe Festival as Ken in Deli: the Musical. Brian is a recent graduate of Seattle University where he studied English and Drama.

Morgan Stetler* (Orlando)

Paul most recently appeared in Living Out by Lisa Loomer, a co-production of Seattle Rep and Missouri Rep. Prior to that, he portrayed the role of Angelo in last seasons Measure for Measure here at Seattle Shakespeare Company. Other Seattle area credits include Wintertime and Grand Magic at ACT, Romeo and Juliet at Seattle Rep, Titus Andronicus and Candida at Intiman Theatre, Texarkana Waltz at Empty Space, A Taste of Sunrise at Seattle Childrens Theatre and Rough Crossing at Tacoma Actors Guild (where he will be playing the role of Tom in their upcoming seasons production of The Glass Menagerie).
Sean
Patrick Taylor (Corin, Amiens)
SSC: A Midsummer Nights Dream (Francis Flute and Band member), Twelfth Night (Curio and Music Director), Lovers and Madmen (Musician/Music Director)
Sean is very pleased to return to Seattle Shakespeare Company, where he most recently appeared in a flame red dress in A Midsummer Nights Dream. Earlier credits with the company include Twelfth Night and Lovers and Madmen. Other recent appearances include Loves Labours Lost, Much Ado About Nothing, The Winters Tale, and As You Like It, all with Wooden O Theatre. He also teaches medieval and renaissance literature whenever he is able to chisel his way into an academic department.
